AISI 4140 alloy is a low steel alloy whose chemical composition includes chromium, molybdenum and manganese. Its chemical composition contains manganese, which increases the toughness of AISI 4140 pipe, while chromium and molybdenum impart ductility. Other properties of this alloy grade include hardenability and high tensile strength, with a value of 655 MPa. AISI 4140 pipe has high impact resistance, high fatigue strength, excellent torsional strength, excellent toughness and very good wear resistance. Today, we will briefly introduce 4140 alloy steel pipe in this article.
