1. Fixed-length spiral steel pipes do not need to be bundled.
2. If the ends of the spiral steel pipes are threaded, they should be protected with thread protectors. Apply lubricant or anti-rust agent to the threads. Pipes with holes at both ends can be fitted with pipe mouth protectors as needed.
3. Packaging of spiral steel pipes should prevent loosening and damage during loading, unloading, transportation, and storage.
4. If the customer requires that the spiral steel pipes be free from surface damage, protective devices such as rubber, straw rope, fiber cloth, plastic, or pipe caps can be used between the pipes.
5. Thin-walled spiral steel pipes, due to their wall thickness, can be protected by internal supports or external frames made from the same steel material as the pipes.
6. If the purchaser has specific requirements for the packaging materials and methods for spiral steel pipes, these should be specified in the contract. If not specified, the supplier will choose the materials and methods.
7. Packaging materials should comply with relevant regulations. If there are no specific requirements, the materials should be suitable for their intended purpose to avoid waste and environmental pollution.
8. Regulations state that spiral steel pipes should be packed in bulk. If the customer requires bundling, it can be considered for pipes with a diameter between 159mm and 500mm. The bundled materials should be packed and fastened with steel belts, twisted into at least two strands, and appropriately increased according to the outer diameter and weight to prevent loosening.
9. When placing spiral steel pipes into a container, the container should be lined with soft, moisture-proof materials such as textile cloth and straw mats. To prevent the pipes from scattering in the container, they can be bundled or welded with protective brackets.
