Maximum operating temperature is 142°C (150°C short-term), maximum operating overpressure is 2.5 MPa, and service life is 30 years. PUR foam insulated pipes with heat resistance up to 165°C available on request.
Pre-insulated piping systems manufactured from specific materials are commonly used in the chemical and cooling industries, drinking water distribution, sewage treatment systems, etc.
Pre-insulated pipes were developed for district heating and are frequently used in district heating. District heating is characterized by long transmission distances, with pipeline lengths ranging from tens of meters to tens of kilometers.
These pipes that distribute hot water or steam can be used with remote heat sources that are more powerful and efficient at high-temperature combustion than decentralized units and are equipped with effective filters to reduce emissions. Pre-insulated pipes for district heating can also be used for renewable heat sources or to convey waste heat from power stations and industrial and agricultural production.
All district heating pre-insulated piping systems use high-quality steel delivery pipes, which can deliver high-temperature and high-pressure heat media with a total service life of up to 30 years. Additionally, heat loss can be significantly reduced by choosing thicker insulation.
Pre-insulated pipe systems are used for underground heating and cooling.
The steel ducts are insulated with cyclopentane-blown rigid polyurethane foam.
The casing is made of high-density polyethylene and protects the pre-insulated pipes from the outside environment.
