1. If the specified requirements cannot be met, and no more than one sample is lower than the minimum absorption work requirement, reject the batch or re-test the three additional samples of a group taken from the same weld. All three specimens shall meet or exceed the average minimum absorption work requirements. If the material of the retest specimen obtained from the original specimen is insufficient, the specimen is allowed to be cut from another weld in the same batch.2. In the initial test, more than one sample is below the minimum work absorption work requirement, and the batch is rejected or retested from three welds in the same batch, with three samples for each weld

If a group of samples representing the batch is lower than the minimum average absorption work, or one sample is lower than the minimum absorption work, three additional samples shall be prepared from the same welding specimen. (The average and minimum absorption work of the retest sample shall be greater than or equal to the specified absorption work requirements.)

Full wall thickness and hardness (weld seam)

All weld specimens with average hardness values exceeding HRC37 shall be rerejected or the batch represented by the test. The test surface can be re-polished before re-testing.

Any welded specimen with hardness exceeds HRC37 shall be retested or rejected. The test surface can be repolished and retested.


Impact (pipe body))

1.
